Line&Jo was founded in 2007 by two goldsmiths, Line Hallberg and Jo Riis-Hansen. Their jewellery designs are strong and bold, and sometimes draw inspiration from esoteric mystical symbols. Line&Jo’s Ray of Eyes Collection marries the concept of Scandanavian minimalism with the rawness of African tribal elements through the ancient symbol of the “all-seeing eye”, associated with power, fortune and protection. This eye is the inspiration behind the Miss Eylie Earstud design. Below the eye is an inverted triangle, a cross and an orb, all attached to the eye by narrow, highly polished gold stems.
